The fun started by taking the bus to the train station.
All dressed in Orange, since the Dutch soccer team had to play the semi-finals today!

From the second floor in the double decker train we had a great view of Haarlem, Spaarne, windmill and Grote Kerk.

We went on a canal boat to get a different perspective of the city.

And beer, bitterballen and pancakes on a patio!
And of course the Dam... in front of the renovations of the National Palace...
