Amsterdam

We went to Amsterdam and for the first time ever it felt like being a tourist in your own country...
The fun started by taking the bus to the train station.

All dressed in Orange, since the Dutch soccer team had to play the semi-finals today!

This is the way Dutch park their bikes at the train station in Haarlem...
The children liked the train ride the best:)

From the second floor in the double decker train we had a great view of Haarlem, Spaarne, windmill and Grote Kerk.
In front of Amsterdam Central Station

We went on a canal boat to get a different perspective of the city.

Strolling along the canals...

And beer, bitterballen and pancakes on a patio!

And of course the Dam... in front of the renovations of the National Palace...

And the National Monument

Need any orange items for the World Cup final on Sunday???
Or outfit inspiration?
